Jim's I.T. career began soon after completing a Diploma in Accountancy at R.M.I.T. In the early Gold Coast years, the rise of IBM PCs made business software accessible to small businesses. His payroll and accounting systems were selected by a McDonald's franchise in Brisbane in 1985. Success led to more modules like inventory, ordering, rostering, and sales analysis. Abcom grew from this foundation into a franchise software provider for the Australian industry.
Jeremy joined Abcom in 2002 while studying Information Technology. With 6 years at McDonald's and 2 at Subway, he brings hands-on QSR experience. He's also certified in Microsoft technologies. Jeremy has held many roles at Abcom, including support, testing, and development. Now, as Software Development Manager, he ensures our systems evolve with the latest technologies while supporting client needs.
Rod's extensive career began at Pizza Hut, Denny's, and McDonald's. He managed award-winning McDonald's restaurants and owned the Mount Isa McDonald's from 1995-2003 Rod joined Abcom in 2011, bringing extensive QSR knowledge to support clients and solutions.
Peter's background in FMCG and as a McDonald's Licensee (1998-2016) gives him practical insight into franchise operations. Since joining Abcom in 2021, he's led Xero training, BOC projects, and Fathom implementation. He also runs payroll weekly for clients, bringing a hands-on approach to product use and development. Peter is passionate about helping clients find innovative business improvements.
Stuart joined Abcom in 1992 after six years with a McDonald's franchisee. A UTS Computer Science graduate, he has worked across support, development, HR/payroll, POS interfaces, and major projects. Today, he focuses on system architecture and data integrations. His decades of experience make him a vital asset in enhancing Abcom's systems and services.
Jason began at Abcom in 1995 while studying Accounting. With 6 years in a McDonald's franchise, he has deep QSR experience. Over the years, he's grown from systems support to managing accounting systems. Jason's detailed bookkeeping and systems expertise make him instrumental in helping franchisees implement Abcom's accounting solutions.
