The Abcom Remote Support Client is a utility program that allows Abcom Technical Support to remotely access your PC for support purposes.

In the interests of your privacy, Abcom may only connect to your PC when you request the support session, furthermore that request only allows a single remote connection session. Subsequent connection sessions will require a new request.

HOW TO USE THE RSC

  1. and select RUN from the security prompt.
  2. Normally you are directed to this web page by an Abcom Techical Support consultant. That consultant will give you an Internet Support Number to request. Double-click that Internet Support Number in the list in the left hand window.
  3. The program will now attempt to establish the remote support session.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If the connection fails please contact Abcom Technical Support for assistance, common error causes can be :

  • The connection ports being blocked by a hardware or software firewall. Contact Abcom Technical Support to ensure the connection is not being blocked.
  • Selecting "No" to security prompts on launch or security settings in your internet browser may be preventing execution.
  • Connection timeout. Restarting the modem/router and PC can help address this issue.
